Petrovka Street
One of the oldest streets of Moscow. Its name derives from Vysoko-Petrovsky monastery located here, and it has not been changed since the beginning of the XVII century. For a long time it was one of the main shopping streets, where clothes and luxury items were sold.

The real heart of Moscow and the whole of Russia. The size of the Red Square is 24 750 m², it is 330 meters long and 75 meters wide. The square is а pedestrian zone, vehicular traffic here was banned in 1963. An exception is made for the car of the Defense Minister opening the parade on the 9th of May, the Victory Day.
